In the Finder window, go to Applications and select The Sims 3 folder.
If asked, enter your administrator password. Double-click the plumbob icon to run the super-patcher.
When the patch is ready to install you’ll see a green plumbob icon. Wait for the patch to extract (this can take a little time).
